INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS
 
Ian Atkinson, Director, is a senior corporate executive with over 30 years of experience in worldwide natural resource management. Now Vice-President, Exploration for Centerra Gold Inc., Ian was formerly Vice-President Exploration & Strategy for Hecla Mining Company where he was responsible for directing exploration activities and managing the technical services and environmental groups. Prior to this Ian, was Senior Vice-President Operations & Exploration with Battle Mountain Gold in Houston and was Senior Vice-President with Hemlo Gold Mines in Toronto. Mr. Atkinson joined the Noranda Group in l979 and was involved in base and precious metal exploration in positions of increasing responsibility from offices across Canada. Before that Ian worked as a geologist and geophysicist for Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd., Yvanex Developments Limited, McIntyre Mines Ltd. and Resource Associates of Alaska. Ian has contributed directly to the discovery of several major mineral deposits including the Holloway Mine in Ontario and the Phoenix deposits at the Battle Mountain Complex in Nevada.
 
Mr. Atkinson is also a director of Atikwa Minerals Corporation.
 
In 1971, Ian graduated from King’s College, University of London with a B.Sc. in Geology and in 1973 from the Royal School of Mines, University of London with a M.A. Geophysics.
 
Chris Bryan, Director and a retired geologist, was President of CBIM, a private OSC-registered investment counsel. From 1994 to 1995 Chris was President of Ophir Capital Inc., an investment management company. Prior to that, Mr. Bryan was Vice-President, Director and Portfolio Manager of Bolton-Tremblay Inc.   Chris was also a mining analyst/ portfolio manager at the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec from 1985 to 1989. The seven years previous were spent as a mining analyst with Lévesque Beaubien Inc. and Nesbitt Thompson Inc.
 
Chris received his B.Sc. (Geology) from Sir George Williams University, a graduate diploma in Geological Sciences from McGill University and in 1978, a B. Comm. from Concordia University, Montreal.
 
Joel D. Schneyer, Director, has over 30 years experience in the energy and natural resource sectors, with a focus on project evaluation, project finance and financial engineering. He is the founder and President of Mercantile Resource Finance, Inc., a financial advisory firm serving the energy and natural resource sectors. Previously, Mr. Schneyer was Manager of Derivative Finance Americas for Barclays Bank. Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Schneyer was a Senior Analyst in the New Business and Strategic Planning Group at Billiton/Royal Dutch Shell. He has additional prior experience as a Petroleum Geologist with IP Petroleum and Celeron Oil & Gas Company.
 
Joel is currently on the Board of Directors of another Canadian-based mineral exploration company, Sandspring Resources Ltd. (TSX.SSP). He is also an officer and director of SynCoal Solutions, Inc., a private company focused on advancing a pre-combustion coal upgrading technology.

Mr. Schneyer holds a B.A. with High Honors (Geology) from Colgate University, an M.A. (Geology) from the University of Texas, and an M.S. (Mineral Economics) from the Colorado School of Mines. Mr. Schneyer completed the Directors Education Program sponsored by the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors to become an Institute Certified Director, ICD.D (2008).
 
DIRECTORS and OFFICERS
 
Jack Stoch, Director, President, Chief Executive Officer and a major shareholder of Globex, is an experienced geologist with an entrepreneurial spirit, devoted to building Globex into a highly successful public mining and exploration company.
 
Following a stint with Noranda Exploration Ltd., Jack, in 1976, started acquiring and vending exploration projects, through his own consulting businesses, Geoconseils Jack Stoch Ltee. and Geosol Inc. At one time, Jack was reported to be the largest private mineral rights holder in the Province of Quebec, Canada.
 
In 1983, Jack Stoch, gained control of the Globex shell and has since amassed a mature exploration portfolio. He has attracted a knowledgeable and well-connected Board of Directors and has expanded the Company’s exploration, evaluation and mining team.
 
In 1972, Jack earned a B.Sc. in Geology from Sir George Williams University in Montreal, with additional graduate courses at McGill University. He was awarded the designation Acc.Dir., Accredited Director in 2007 by the Chartered Secretaries Canada and is a registered Professional Geologist in both Quebec and Saskatchewan, Canada.
 
Dianne Stoch, Director and Corporate Secretary, was formerly Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company. Prior to joining Globex over 20 years ago, Dianne was employed by Noranda Inc. for more than 18 years, in a variety of accounting/financial positions including Head Office Corporate Planner, Toronto and Senior Accountant Analyst, revenue planner for the Horne smelter in Rouyn-Noranda. In 2007, Dianne was awarded the designation Acc.Dir., Accredited Director, from the Chartered Secretaries Canada.
 
James Wilson, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, brings varied experience to the Company, gained as an auditor with Ernst & Young, in his involvement with Falconbridge Ltd., as well as in his Vice-President, Finance and CFO roles within the insurance industry. Prior to joining First Metals, Jim spearheaded financial process and internal control over financial reporting initiatives in a variety of private and public organizations.
 
Jim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from McMaster University as well as the designations of Chartered Accountant (C.A.) and Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.). Currently Jim is the CFO and Vice-President Finance of First Metals Inc. (FMA), and divides his time between Globex and FMA for the near future.
